1. Overview
This Cancellation Policy explains your rights and options when cancelling subscriptions, marketing campaigns, or music distribution releases on the FlipDistro platform. We aim to make cancellations straightforward and fair.
2. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your FlipDistro Pro subscription at any time. Here's what to expect:
- Immediate Effect: Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain full access to Pro features until then.
- No Automatic Renewal: Once cancelled, your plan will not renew. You will be downgraded to the Free plan at the end of your billing cycle.
- Data Retention: Your releases, royalty data, and account information are preserved after cancellation. You will not lose your content.
- Reactivation: You may reactivate your Pro plan at any time by upgrading again from the Subscription page.
3. How to Cancel Your Subscription
- Log in to your FlipDistro account.
- Navigate to Subscription in the sidebar.
- Click Cancel Plan and confirm your choice.
- You will receive a confirmation email with your cancellation details.
4. Cancelling a Marketing Campaign
Campaign cancellations are subject to the following rules:
- Before Acceptance: Campaigns that have not yet been accepted by the marketer can be cancelled with a full refund.
- After Acceptance, Before Start: You may request cancellation. A full or partial refund will be assessed based on any preparatory work done by the marketer.
- Campaign In Progress: Cancellations mid-campaign are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. A partial refund may be issued based on deliverables completed.
- Completed Campaigns: Campaigns marked as completed cannot be cancelled. Please raise a dispute if you believe deliverables were not met.
5. Cancelling a Music Release
Release cancellation depends on the current distribution status:
- Pending Review: You may withdraw a release at any time before approval. No fees apply.
- Approved / Live: Once a release is live on streaming platforms, a takedown request must be submitted. Takedowns typically take 5–10 business days and distribution fees are non-refundable.
- Rejected Releases: Rejected releases can be edited and resubmitted at no additional cost.
6. Account Cancellation
To fully delete your FlipDistro account:
- Contact us at support@flipdistromusic.com with a deletion request.
- Ensure all pending withdrawals are processed before requesting account deletion.
- Live releases will be taken down from all platforms upon account deletion.
- Account data is permanently deleted within 30 days of the request.
7. Marketer Account Cancellation
Marketers may deactivate their service listings at any time from the My Services page. Active campaigns must be completed or mutually cancelled before a marketer account can be fully closed. Any outstanding payouts will be processed within 10 business days.
