FlipDistro ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our music distribution platform at flipdistromusic.com ("Platform").

Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of our Platform.

Personal Information: Name, email address, payment information (processed securely), country of residence, and artist/label name when you register.

Music Content: Audio files, artwork, metadata (titles, genres, credits), ISRC and UPC codes, and lyrics you upload for distribution.

Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, browser type, device information, IP address, and interaction patterns with our Platform.

Financial Data: Royalty earnings, withdrawal requests, payment method details (we do not store full card numbers), and transaction history.

Communications: Messages sent via our platform's messaging system between artists and marketers.

We use the information we collect to:

• Distribute your music to streaming platforms on your behalf
• Process royalty payments and withdrawals
• Provide analytics on streams, revenue, and audience growth
• Facilitate the Marketing Marketplace between artists and marketers
• Send transactional emails (release approvals, payment notifications)
• Improve our Platform features and user experience
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud
• Respond to support inquiries

On the Free plan, FlipDistro retains 20% of royalty earnings as a distribution service fee. This is clearly disclosed at signup and in your dashboard.

On the Pro plan ($19.99/year), no royalty commission is deducted — you keep 100% of all earnings.

For Marketplace transactions, FlipDistro collects a 5% service fee from the total campaign price agreed between artists and marketers. This fee covers payment processing, platform maintenance, and dispute resolution.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Streaming Platforms: Your music metadata and content shared with distribution partners (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) for publication
• Payment Processors: Financial data shared with payment providers for withdrawal processing
• Marketplace Participants: Artist and marketer display names and service information visible in the Marketplace
• Legal Authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Music metadata and ISRC/UPC records are retained indefinitely as they are required for royalty tracking. You may request deletion of your account by contacting support@flipdistromusic.com.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data transmission and store sensitive data in encrypted form. We conduct regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
